Watch D.O.G.S Program

Making a BIG impact with just one day! Our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) show up, support students, and help our school thrive—one hallway, high five, and hug at a time.

About Varner Watch DOGS Program

At Varner Elementary, our Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program is a vital part of our school community. This nationally recognized initiative invites fathers, father figures, and positive male role models to volunteer at least one full day during the school year to serve as mentors and support systems for our students and staff. When Watch D.O.G.S. are present, students notice, and they rise to the occasion. These volunteers provide positive male role models, help reduce disciplinary issues, and promote a stronger sense of community. Simply put, when our Watch D.O.G.S. show up, kids feel seen, supported, and inspired.
